Our Story
FlexyPdf started in 2025 as a side project to solve a frustration every web user shares: you need to do one small thing — compress an image, merge two PDFs, clean up a JSON file — and the top search result is a bloated page that wants you to sign up, install an app, or upload your file to an unknown server.
We set out to build the opposite: a single site where common digital tasks can be completed in seconds, with no accounts, no uploads where avoidable, and no dark patterns. Every tool runs in your browser first — using WebAssembly, Canvas, and Web Workers — so your files stay on your device unless server processing is strictly required.
Today FlexyPdf covers 140+ everyday tools across PDF, image, developer, SEO, text, calculator, media, AI, and web utilities. It is a small project built with care, and we keep the scope tight on purpose: each tool has to be something we would personally reach for.
How FlexyPdf is Run
FlexyPdf is built and maintained as a small, independent project. Tools are written, tested, and shipped by a hands-on operator rather than a content team — which means decisions about what to build, how to handle privacy, and which features to prioritise are made directly, without a marketing layer between users and the code.
We do not publish staff profiles or author bylines because the work does not warrant the implied authority. Each tool page describes what the tool does, how it processes your data, and how to use it. If something breaks or you find a feature that needs improvement, the contact page reaches us directly.
