About FlexyPdf
FlexyPdf is a free website with 84 tools for everyday file and text jobs — editing and converting PDFs, compressing and resizing images, formatting code, converting data and doing quick calculations. Every tool works in an ordinary web browser, without an account and without installing anything.
Who runs it
FlexyPdf is built and maintained by Kishan, an independent web developer based in India. It started in 2026 as a way to have dependable versions of the small tools that otherwise mean installing software or uploading private documents to an unknown website. There is no large team behind it: one person runs the site, using AI coding and writing assistants to help build the tools and draft the explanations on each page, and answers the messages sent through the contact page.
How the tools work
The file tools run in your browser. When you choose a PDF, image, audio or video file, JavaScript on the page reads it into your device's memory, processes it with open-source libraries — for example pdf-lib and Mozilla's PDF.js for PDFs, and the browser's Canvas and Web Audio APIs for images and sound — and gives you the result to download. Your files are not uploaded to FlexyPdf.
A few tools need outside data to work at all: the currency converter downloads exchange rates, the DNS lookup sends the domain name to Google Public DNS, the font preview loads fonts from Google Fonts, and speech-to-text (and the “online” voices in text-to-speech) use the speech service built into your browser. Each of these tools says exactly what is sent in the Privacy section of its page. The Privacy Policy covers the whole site.
How the tools are checked
A tool is only listed if it does what its page says. Before a tool page is published, its description is checked line by line against what the code actually does, and anything the tool cannot do is listed under “Limitations” — for example, that compressing a PDF in the strongest mode turns pages into images, or that the BMI calculator is a screening measure and not a diagnosis. Tools that could not be made to work reliably in a browser have been removed instead of being left online.
Mistakes still happen. If a tool gives a wrong result, please report it with an example through the contact page so it can be fixed.

How the site is paid for
FlexyPdf is free and has no paid plan. Hosting and development are paid for by advertising shown on the site through Google AdSense. Ads never decide what a tool does or what a page says. Google Analytics is used to count visits and see which tools are used, so that effort goes where it is most useful. Tool pages have an optional star rating and comment box. Only ratings and comments submitted by visitors are shown; none are written or added by FlexyPdf. Comments containing links or abusive words are held back automatically and are not published.
