Privacy Policy

The tools run as JavaScript in your browser. When you choose a file or paste text, it is read into your device's memory, processed there, and the result is offered as a download from the page. Your files and the text you type into the tools are not sent to FlexyPdf's servers, and FlexyPdf cannot see them. When you close or reload the page, they are gone from the tool.

The software libraries the tools use (for example pdf-lib and PDF.js) are served from FlexyPdf's own server, not from third-party code delivery networks.

Some tools cannot work without outside data. When you use them, your browser connects to the service named below. Like any website request, that service can see your IP address and browser details.

• Currency Converter — downloads a table of current exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API (api.exchangerate-api.com). The request always asks for the same US-dollar-based table; the currencies you pick and the amounts you type are not sent. Terms and privacy.
• DNS Lookup — sends the domain name and record type you enter to Google Public DNS (dns.google). Google Public DNS privacy.
• Font Preview — loads the fonts you choose from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
• Speech to Text — uses the speech recognition built into your browser. Depending on the browser, your voice may be sent to the browser maker's speech service to be transcribed (for example, Google for Chrome). FlexyPdf does not receive the audio or the transcript.
• Text to Speech — uses the voices provided by your browser and operating system. Voices marked “online” send the text to the browser maker's speech service to generate the audio (for example, Google for Chrome); other voices work entirely on your device. FlexyPdf does not receive the text.

No other tool sends your data anywhere. The site's own fonts are hosted on FlexyPdf's server.

Server logs. Like most websites, the server that hosts FlexyPdf records basic request data: IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure (for example, to investigate errors and block abuse) and are kept only for a limited period.

Google Analytics. FlexyPdf uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages and tools are opened, roughly where visitors come from (country or city level), the type of device and browser, and how visitors arrived. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. It uses first-party cookies (see the Cookie Policy) only if you accept them; if you decline, or if you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland and have not accepted, Analytics runs without cookies and only receives limited, cookieless information. FlexyPdf is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

If you decline cookies in our notice, FlexyPdf asks Google to show only non-personalised ads. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland may also be shown Google's own consent message for advertising. Ads are chosen by Google; FlexyPdf does not receive information that identifies you from them. How Google uses cookies in advertising.

Contact form and email. When you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, chosen topic and message, together with your IP address and browser user-agent (to detect spam), in the site's database. Emails you send to support@flexypdf.com are kept in that mailbox. This information is used only to read and answer your message and is not shared with anyone.

Ratings and comments on tool pages. If you rate a tool or leave a comment, we store the rating, the comment, the date, your IP address and browser user-agent. The rating and comment are shown publicly on the tool page without any name; your IP address and user-agent are never shown and are used only for rate limiting and to protect against spam and abuse. Comments that contain links or abusive words are held back automatically and not published. Please don't include personal information in comments.

FlexyPdf itself does not set cookies. It uses your browser's storage for a few settings that never leave your device:

• your light/dark theme choice;
• your cookie choice (accepted or declined);
• which tools you have rated, which comments you liked, and whether the rating prompt was already shown, so you are not asked twice;
• whether you dismissed the “install app” prompt, and the files the app keeps for offline use.

You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

• To run the website and keep it secure — server logs and abuse protection (legitimate interest in operating a safe service).
• To answer your messages — contact form data (to respond to your request).
• To show public ratings and comments — the reviews you choose to submit (your choice to publish them).
• To understand which tools are used and improve them — Google Analytics (your consent where the law requires it).
• To pay for the site through advertising — Google AdSense (your consent for personalised ads where the law requires it).

FlexyPdf does not sell personal data, does not build user profiles and does not send marketing emails.

• Our hosting provider, which runs the server and database on our behalf.
• Google, for Analytics and AdSense as described above, and for Google Public DNS and Google Fonts when you use those tools.
• ExchangeRate-API, when you use the Currency Converter.
• Authorities, only if required by law.

• Files and text used in the tools: not stored by FlexyPdf at all.
• Contact messages: for as long as needed to deal with your message, and deleted earlier if you ask.
• Ratings and comments: for as long as they are displayed on the site, or until you ask for removal.
• Server logs: for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
• Google Analytics data: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics.
• Local storage: until you clear it in your browser.

FlexyPdf is operated from India. Its server is run by a hosting provider, and Google may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred across borders, it is protected by the safeguards those providers offer under applicable law.

You can change your cookie choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the site footer. Depending on where you live — for example under the EU or UK GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing.

To make a request, email support@flexypdf.com. To find a contact message or review, include the email address you used or the tool name and the date. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

FlexyPdf is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and it will be deleted.

The whole site is served over HTTPS. Contact messages and reviews are stored in a database that is not publicly accessible. No system is perfectly secure, which is one reason the tools are designed so that your files never reach our server in the first place.

If the way FlexyPdf handles data changes — for example, when a tool starts using an outside service — this page is updated and the date at the top changes.
