About the Business Card Generator
Fill in your name, job title, company, email, phone and website, pick a colour style, and the card preview redraws as you type. Download Card (PNG) saves the front of the card as a 1050 × 600 pixel image. That matches the common 3.5 × 2 inch card size at 300 pixels per inch, a usual resolution for print.
There are six styles: Modern (dark slate with blue), Minimal (white with a thin border), Gradient (violet), Bold (red), Elegant (dark navy with coral) and Nature (green). Each has a coloured strip on the left edge, your name in large type, the title in the accent colour, and up to three contact lines marked E, P and W. While every field is empty the preview shows sample text; as soon as you type something, only the fields you filled in are drawn, so no placeholder text ends up on your card.
It is meant for quick, clean cards: a student needing cards for a placement fair, a freelancer starting out, or someone who wants a digital card to share as an image. Upload the PNG to a print shop or online printing service. If the printer uses 85 × 55 mm cards instead, the shape is slightly different, so expect a little cropping or a thin margin. Limitations
- Front side only, in landscape orientation; there is no back side or vertical layout.
- No logo or photo upload, no QR code and no choice of fonts (it uses Arial).
- Text is not wrapped or shrunk, so very long entries can run off the edge of the card.
- The PNG has no bleed area or crop marks, and it is an RGB image; some professional printers ask for a PDF with bleed in CMYK.
Privacy
The card is drawn on a canvas in your browser; your name and contact details are not sent to FlexyPdf's servers.
Frequently asked questions
What size is the downloaded card?
1050 × 600 pixels. Printed at 3.5 × 2 inches (about 89 × 51 mm) that is 300 pixels per inch, which looks sharp for text on a business card.
Can I print it on standard 85 × 55 mm cards?
Yes, but the proportions differ slightly from 3.5 × 2 inches, so the printer will either trim a little from the sides or leave a thin margin. Keep important text away from the edges.
Can I add a logo or a QR code?
Not in this tool. You can make a QR code separately and place both images together in your printer's online editor or any image editor.
Is the card saved if I come back later?
No. Nothing is stored, so download the PNG before you leave the page. Retyping the details takes a minute if you need changes later.
