Prompt Template Builder for ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini
Pick one of 23 fill-in templates or describe your own task, and get a structured prompt to paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another assistant. The text is assembled from your answers; nothing is sent to a chatbot.
About the Prompt Template Builder
A good prompt says what you want, who it is for and what the answer should contain. This builder does that structuring for you. Pick a template, fill in the fields, press Build Prompt, and copy the finished text into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other chat assistant. Nothing is sent to a chatbot from this page and no text is generated by a model here; the prompt is assembled from the template wording and your answers.
There are 23 templates in eight groups: Writing (blog post, email draft, product description, social media post), Coding (code review, function, debugging, API design), Business (SWOT analysis, business plan outline, meeting agenda), Marketing (ad copy, SEO content brief, landing page copy), Education (lesson plan, explain a concept, quiz), Creative (story starter, character profile), Analysis (data interpretation, pros and cons) and Image (a Midjourney-style prompt with an --ar aspect ratio, and an illustration description).
For example, the Email Draft template asks for a subject, recipient, purpose and tone. Fill in "rescheduling Friday's demo", "a client", "propose Tuesday instead" and "polite", and you get a complete instruction that also asks for a subject line, greeting, key points and sign-off. Any field you leave empty stays in the prompt as a bracketed placeholder such as [tone], so you can fill it in later.
If no template fits, switch to Custom Prompt, describe the task and add context; the builder wraps it in a short structured request. Before pasting long input into a prompt, the Word Counter shows how long it is, and the Code Beautifier tidies code you want reviewed.
How to use the Prompt Template Builder
- 1

- 2
Pick a category and template

What it can do
23 templates in 8 categories
Writing, coding, business, marketing, education, creative, analysis and image prompts.
Placeholders for missing fields
Empty fields appear as [field name], so the prompt stays readable and easy to complete later.
Custom prompt mode
Turns a one-line task and optional context into a structured request.
Length check
Shows the character and word count of the finished prompt.
Works with any assistant
The output is plain text, so it can be pasted into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar tools.
Limitations
- It does not run or answer the prompt; you paste it into a chat assistant yourself.
- The template wording is fixed. Edit the copied text if you want to change the instructions.
- Prompts are not saved, and you cannot add your own templates.
- Answers from chat assistants vary, so the same prompt can give different results each time and still needs checking.
Privacy
Templates are filled in by JavaScript in your browser; what you type is not sent to FlexyPdf or to any chat service.
Frequently asked questions
Does this tool use ChatGPT or another model?
No. It is a template builder: it inserts your answers into prewritten prompt text in your browser. You copy the result into the assistant of your choice.
What happens if I leave a field empty?
The field's name stays in square brackets, for example [audience]. You can fill it in after pasting, or the assistant may ask you about it.
Can I use the Midjourney template with other image tools?
The --ar part is Midjourney's aspect-ratio parameter. For other image generators, remove it or use the Illustration Prompt template, which is plain descriptive text.
Should I paste confidential code or data into the prompt?
This page does not send it anywhere, but the assistant you paste the prompt into will receive it. Check that service's data policy and remove secrets such as passwords and API keys first.
